Dr. Schommer will discuss the topic of Direct to Consumer Advertising in the pharmaceutical industry and the controversies surrounding it. Dr. Schommer's research is in the investigation of problem solving and decision making related to the provision, use, & evaluation of drug products and pharmacist services. His work is grounded in health behavior theories; decision-making theories; cognitive, social, and behavioral psychology; and marketing models of organizational and consumer behavior.
