MBA Final Case Competition Results
The MBA core faculty and staff would like to congratulate the winners of the 2007 MBA Final Case Competition. This year's case was investigating Medical Tourism with OptumHealth a division of United Health. Members of the winning team include: Ryan Breisach, Erin Hubbard, Aaron Patnode, John Reed, and Junhua Shang. Congratulations!
Office Hours during Winter Break Hours will be from 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Extended office hours will be offered again at the beginning of the new semester, Tuesday, January 22nd.
STUDENT AFFAIRS
Classes on Caucus Night - February 5, 2008
State law, Section 202A.19, Subdivision 3, gives the Board of Regents the authority to allow classes and other events to be held on caucus night. At its December 2005 meeting, the Board of Regents approved a resolution authorizing the University to schedule classes on caucus night, classes scheduled to meet on caucus night are scheduled with the clear expectation that instructors will make reasonable accommodations for students who will be attending their party caucus.
2nd Year MBA Fellowships:
Applications are now being accepted for fellowships that will be award to students in Fall 2008 and spring 2009. Please see the following website to apply for the fellowships: http://www.csom.umn.edu/Page4496.aspx This website contains all necessary information on how and when to apply. Please be aware that the fellowships only cover the cost of tuition, if you have a full tuition waiver then you will not be eligible for these fellowships. Application materials should be submitted to Stephanie Nichols by January 28, 2008. Award letters will be put in your mailbox to applicants in March 2008. Letters will also be put in mailboxes for students who are not selected for awards.

Limited funds are available to Carlson School student groups to host an event.
