Loren W JohnsonFellowship in Business Ethics

 
Originally established as a prize to be awarded for an Ethics competition, this fund now supports an annual award for a Full-Time MBA first or second year student who has applied and been admitted to the Ethics Seminar (IBUS 6315). Roger T Johnson established this fellowship in honor of his father Loren (BBA 1935).

Awards:
1 award for $2500.00, student must apply and be accepted to the Ethics Seminar for summer 2010 to be eligible.

  3. Essay (no longer than one single-spaced page). The essay should pertain to business ethics and corporate responsibility. The strength of the essay and the student's academic merit will be the primary factors in the selection of the fellowship recipient.
Selection criteria:
Students (2nd year) who are applying for the Ethics Seminar for summer 2010 are eligible to apply for this fellowship at the same time as their application for the seminar. Only students who are accepted to the seminar are eligible for this award. All applicants will be notified of the status of the award in February/March 2010. Applicants cannot extend funds to a subsequent term. Awards will be placed on student accounts in April/May just prior to the student’s departure for the program. This course will fulfill the Ethics menu requirement.
