2 weeks in May/June 2011. Classes will be held Spring Term B at the Carlson School.

Objective:

This program provides students with a first-hand look at the challenges corporations face in the emerging market of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and helps them learn what it takes to successfully consult for a company operating in a developing economy. Created as a partnership between a corporation like Pentair, Ecolab, or Caterpillar and the Carlson School, this program offers students the opportunity to work in teams on a live consulting project analyzing business strategy in the CEE region. The course is designed to augment students’ knowledge of business conditions in emerging Europe, and provide a unique opportunity to consult for a major multi-national company.
