The MBA Charity Auction is a unique opportunity to spend an evening socializing with members of the whole Carlson community, including the Full-Time, Part-Time, and Executive MBA programs, as well as faculty, staff, and alumni. Class of 2009  - Graduation Information
Grad Fest this year is March 25 and 26. If you are planning to join us at graduation, caps and gowns can be ordered at Grad Fest or online at bookstore.umn.edu/grad. If you have questions regarding graduation visit the graduation webpage

Also, if you are an international student who is planning to work post graduation, please make a plan to visit ISSS soon to get your OPT forms in process. Class of 2010 - Second Year Fellowships
Thanks to generous gifts from alumni and friends, the Carlson School awards fellowships to second-year Full-Time MBA students. Review this webpage in order to view details on the awards. The web page will give you information on all of the available fellowships and how to apply. Review all of the fellowships and only apply for the ones for which you are eligible. Application materials for any awards on this page should be submitted to Stephanie Nichols, 1-110 Carlson.  The deadline for submission of information is February 20,  at 4:30. Please e-mail Steph Nichols (s-nich@umn.edu)  the information or drop off the information in the MBA Programs Office

UCard Access Request Form
If you are having difficulty accessing the Carlson School breakout rooms or the graduate student lounge, you can now complete an access request form online. We require that this form is filled out completely. Once the form is submitted you can expect to receive access within 36 hours. Each class will run from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Assessing Your Career Direction Using the MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory

The MBTI provides information on your unique personality style; how you think, communicate and interact with others and the types of careers that would successfully leverage this style. The inventory provides an in depth assessment of your interests and connects them to a broad range of occupations and preferred work environments. Sustainability and Green Initiatives Speaker:Will Steger
Tuesday, February 17, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m., 3M Auditorium
All students, staff, and faculty are welcome and encouraged to join us. Will Steger will give a keynote presentation and talk about global warming, the Will Steger Foundation, and his work with businesses on their green initiatives. After Steger's presentation, Mark Schiller, chair of the Carlson School's Green Group, will present on what the Carlson School and businesses can do to reduce their environmental footprints. All students, faculty and staff of the University of Minnesota are welcome to attend. Event is sponsored by the Carlson School's Undergraduate Program.

Does the Work of Asian Women Artists Matter?

WAM Chatter, a new program from the Weisman Art Museum. Each WAM Chatter event poses a central question and invites responses from one or more presenters. We know that some of the best networking often happens informally after classes end. To help support community and social opportunities, the MBA programs office has arranged an agreement with Corner Bar to provide students with a voucher to purchase food or non-alcoholic beverages. All you need to do is identify the date your group of MBAs will be getting together and the names of those in your party. Have a group leader email this information to Jessica McLain, mclai003@umn.edu, for consideration at least 2 days in advance. If approved, the voucher can be picked up in the MBA programs office, suite 1-110.
