Working with Securian Financial Group for more than 30 years, Bob Senkler has served as Chief Executive Officer since 1994 and Chairman since 1995. He has played a leading role in shaping the overall organization's strategy and maintaining its financial strength. Bob currently serves on the boards of HealthEast, Hubbard Broadcasting, and several other organizations including the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. You must complete a separate application for this award before April 1. Applications are available in the Undergrad Office in Hanson Hall. The Carlson School's late benefactor, Curtis L. Carlson established this full-tuition scholarship for Carlson Companies employees and their families.

Relay For Life

This year's Relay For Life will be held on April 17 at 6 p.m. and will continue overnight until 6 a.m. the next day. To sign up to participate in the event, students and members of the community can visit www.uofmrelayforlife.com.
Relay For Life is a non-athletic event that anyone can participate in. Its primary purpose is to raise money for cancer research and American Cancer Society programs. Last year, the Relay raised a record $161,000, and this year's goal is $176,000. Everyone who signs up for the Relay prior to March 13 will receive a free Relay For Life t-shirt.
