Congratulations to Graham Arntzen (MBA '10) Graham was selected by the Telfer School of Management in Ottawa to represent the Carlson School at the annual Canadian Leadership Orientation Program May 31-June 5, 2009. He will join 23 other students from leading U.S., Mexican, and Canadian business schools in high level briefings by Canadian political and business leaders and company visits in Ottawa and Montreal.

Dan was selected as one of the 2009 President's Student Leadership and Service Award recipients. This annual award recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of outstanding student leaders at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. On behalf of the President, it is presented annually to approximately one-half of one percent of the student body for their exceptional leadership and service to the University of Minnesota and the surrounding Community.

Technology Commercialization for Web 2.0 Business Monday, March 9, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., CSOM 2-206
This fourth seminar will present and discuss emerging trends and opportunities for commercializing technology within web 2.0 businesses. Entrepreneurs, investors, academics and experts in this industry will lead a panel discussion on how best to leverage technology in web 2.0 businesses. The speaker must be able to reflect the broad impact of graduate education at the Carlson School and be cleared by their program office to participate in the 2009 commencement ceremony. Registration Planning Information Degree Plan: Make a course plan on the graduation planning tool and review your APAS report which shows courses to take, courses taken, and program status. Section 90 classes: These sections are Part-Time MBA only sections but you can take them. Stephanie Nichols will be reviewing the wait list for classes and adding students after the Part-Time MBA students queue ends.
