Call for Commencement Speaker Nominations Nominations Due by Friday, March 20, by 4:30 p.m. We are seeking nominations for a student speaker at the Carlson School Graduate Commencement Ceremony on Monday, May 18. The speaker must be able to reflect the broad impact of graduate education at the Carlson School and be cleared by their program office to participate in the 2009 commencement ceremony. The Carlson Companies Scholarship was established to provide a special educational opportunity for Carlson Company employees, their children and grandchildren at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. The scholarship award includes the cost of tuition and fees for one academic year and may be renewed provided the recipient is in good academic standing and is making acceptable progress towards completion of a Carlson School degree.
