Positioning Statements

Learn how to develop an effective and strategic Positioning Statement and modify it for networking and interviewing situations. Will discuss how to use the positioning statement to answer those tough open-ended interview situations like "Tell me about yourself, and "Why should I hire you?" Sign Up Now for Mock Interviews
To satisfy the eligibility requirements for Fall 2009 On Campus Recruiting, students must complete a mock interview. Slots are filling fast! Sign up by clicking on the "Announcements" section in The Edge. Within one week, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from the GBCC with instructions for signing up for the mock interview program via The Edge.

If you are graduating between September 2009 and August 2010 and would like to participate in On-Campus Recruiting (OCR), you MUST notify GBCC of your intention to participate. To do so, use the link via The Edge, located in the Announcements section.

Use the Moodle Site for key OCR documents
Visit the GBCC new Moodle site for comprehensive information about GBCC services and resources, including information on on-campus recruiting.

Carlson IT Help Desk
The Carlson IT Student Services Help Desk will be closed for the duration of the summer, and  IT Student Services will operate out of the Hanson Laptop Repair Center.  The Laptop Repair Center will be open Monday-Thursday, 8am to 6pm and Friday, 8am to 5:30pm.  Please see the Computer Labs page for the computer labs summer hours.
